Remote Online Notarization Instructions
Verify if your notary need is remote online notarization approved.
If you have questions about whether or not your document is RON approved, feel free to contact us via live chat or email.
If you only have a hard copy of the document, you must have a way to scan or upload it.
If the document is a unique hard copy, it must be scanned and/or uploaded so we have access to the document for preparation.
Remote Online notarization requires an audiovisual meeting
A working web camera and microphone is required in order be RON compliant. This is important because the camera and microphone is vital to identifying the parties involved.
a consult will be scheduled to go over document preparation and the process.
This consult will be completed either on the phone or by email, depending on the nature of the service involved.
The video session will be scheduled
The last step of the consult involves scheduling the video session. CAD Notary Services utilizes the Blue Notary platform (approved by Louisiana's Secretary of State for RON) in order to ensure compliance and security of the client's personal information.
The video session will be completed
Once the video session is complete, the client will be prompted to submit payment for services rendered. When payment is received, the completed/notarized document will be submitted to the client. Payment options are listed below.
